Mountain Man Apothecary is a  small-batch herbal apothecary rooted in the mountains of West Virginia. Raised in the southern part of the state, Justin spent his childhood walking the woods with generations of his family, learning how to find and prepare plants and roots passed down through Appalachian tradition.

Now based in Canaan Valley, Justin continues that legacy with his longtime partner Danielle, their cat Bruce, and loyal dog Sally. He blends ancestral knowledge with modern herbal understanding to help people improve their health naturally, slowly, and sustainably.

At Mountain Man Apothecary, Justin creates handcrafted tinctures and salves using native Appalachian plants. His mission is to support his community’s wellness by restoring a connection to the healing power of the land.
